Move Your Modbus TCP/IP Server Data to a DeviceNet Controller
The 460MCDS moves data between a DeviceNet Master device and a network of up to 32 Modbus TCP/IP Server devices. It’s the perfect tool to tie Modbus TCP/IP devices into your DeviceNet network.

Best of all the product is Made in the USA, is always in stock and comes with a 5 year warranty.

How Do I Use the 460MCDS in My Application?
Up to 240 bytes of data can be moved in both directions between DeviceNet and up to 32 Modbus TCP/IP devices. You input the register table of your Modbus devices and the data is automatically mapped to DeviceNet.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
All the data transfer is configurable using the embedded web server. You define the number of Modbus TCP/IP Server devices. You set one or more configurable groups of registers to transfer from each Server and how those registers are mapped to Analog Properties in the DeviceNet Master.

The 460MCDS is the Smart Connection solution for moving data between Modbus TCP/IP Server devices and a DeviceNet Master.

How Does It Work?
The 460MCDS provides an option to connect Modbus TCP/IP Server devices to your DeviceNet network. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us. Try the RTA difference today.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
