Get Data from DeviceNet Slave Devices into Your Ethernet TCP/IP Devices
The 460DMTCP moves data between up to 32 DeviceNet Slave devices and an Ethernet TCP/IP device.

With the 460DMTCP you have a tool to help you map DeviceNet device data into an Ethernet TCP/IP application. You can also capture Ethernet TCP/IP commands and write them to your DeviceNet Slave devices.

How Do You Map the Data?
Up to 400 bytes of Ethernet TCP/IP data will be mapped into your DeviceNet Slave devices. Ethernet TCP/IP data is mapped directly to your DeviceNet Slaves. When writing from your DeviceNet Slaves to your Ethernet TCP/IP devices, up to 400 bytes of DeviceNet output data will be viewed as Ethernet TCP/IP data.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.

Why use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460DMTCP provides an option to access DeviceNet devices without having to upgrade your established Ethernet TCP/IP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”

Kevin L. / Extol, Inc.
