Modbus the Protocol

  • Modbus RTU is an open, serial (RS-232 or RS-485) protocol derived from the client/server architecture
  • Modbus RTU is a compact, binary representation of the data

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Industrial Automation Sytems (IAS)
