Get Modbus TCP Data Into Your Modbus RTU PLC or HMI

The 460MSMRS moves data between Modbus TCP Client on a Modbus TCP network and a Modbus RTU Master. The module provides complete communication to Modbus TCP Server devices from Modbus RTU Slaves. Our unit provides Modbus RTU Slave data to a Modbus TCP network as Modbus RTU data and provides Modbus TCP data to a Modbus RTU network as Modbus RTU data.

With the 460MSMRS you have a device that you can quickly deploy and easily configure to access and integrate Modbus TCP Server data into your Modbus RTU network.

Turn Your Modbus TCP Data Into a Set of Modbus RTU Registers

Now, with the 460MSMRS you can capture all sorts of Modbus TCP data as Modbus RTU Slave Registers and easily bring it into your PLC, HMI, or PC based Modbus RTU Master device. See your barcode, weigh data or measurement data as a series of consecutive Modbus Registers.

Move Your Data Bi-directionally

You can both write register data from your Modbus RTU Master to your Modbus TCP Client and read registers from your Modbus RTU Master. Up to 400 Registers of data can be transferred to and from your Modbus TCP Client and Modbus RTU Master

Your Modbus RTU Slaves see the 460MSMRS as a Modbus RTU Master device with the accumulated register data of all your Modbus TCP Server devices.

Configure Your Data Transfer from a Web Page

All the data transfer is configurable using the embedded web server. You define the number of Modbus TCP Server devices. You set one or more configurable groups of registers to transfer from each server and in waht order that those registers are transferred to the Modbus RTU Slaves.

The 460MSMRS module is the smart connection solution for connecting Modbus TCP Server devices and a Modbus RTU Slave network.

How Does It Work?

The products in the Instant Device Converter product line contain an IEC 61131-3 Control Engine that moves your data between the different network buffers. Input data from one network is moved to the output buffer of one or more other networks. The same principle applies to data moving in the opposite direction.
