The Smart Way To Move EtherNet/IP PLC Data to BACnet/IP

The 460ESBS moves data between a BACnet/IP Client and an EtherNet/IP PLC. Many Buildig Systems use Programmable Controllers to implement building control logic. Until now, it has been difficult and expensive to exhange data between an Allen Bradley PLC and BACnet/IP enabled Building Automation Systems.

With the 460ESBS you have a device that you can quickly deploy and easily configure to access and integrate these EtherNet/IP devices into your BACnet/IP network.

Move Your Data Bi-directionally

With the 460ESBS module you can both write data to your BACnet/IP Client Device and read from that BACnet Client. Inputs from your BACnet/IP Client are concatenated and presented to an EtherNet/IP Scanner as EtherNet/IP data. Outputs from a BACnet/IP Client are distributed to an EtherNet/IP Scanner.

No Configuration Needed

There is no configuration to figure out. Your data transfer is configured via your internet browser. You set up your PLC and the BACnet/IP analog Input and Output properites. This is the quickest, easiest way of exchanging data between BACnet/IP and an EtherNet/IP Scanner.

How Does It Work?

The products in the Instant Device Converter product line contain an IEC 61131-3 Control Engine that moves your data between the different network buffers. Input data from one network is moved to the output buffer of one or more other networks. The same principle applies to data moving in the opposite direction.
