The Fastest Way to Turn Your Factory Floor Device Into a DeviceNet Master or Server

|
In 1994, DeviceNet was introduced by Allen-Bradley and made an open specification at the request of major automotive customers like General Motors. Open DeviceNet Vendor Association became the owner of the technology, and within a few years over 300 vendors were producing DeviceNet products. DeviceNet truly “broke the ice” in the United States for open protocols in automation, just as Profibus had already been doing in Europe before that. Today DeviceNet is very popular in automotive, semiconductor, material handling and many other parts of the automation business. In fact, DeviceNet capability is very often a prerequisite for participation in many new automation projects. Quite frankly, today it is a mistake to not support DeviceNet.
You can now add custom DeviceNet communications to your product quickly and easily with a turn key module or PCB. You can add DeviceNet Slave communications to your valve, drive, scale barcode reader or any other factory floor device in weeks, not months or years. Best of all, you get a solution tailored to your hardware. It fits YOUR FOOTPRINT. It has the IO YOU NEED. It has the DeviceNet network interface that YOUR CUSTOMERS REQUIRE. |

| "Our first experience using RTA, Inc. has been a resounding success. The development proceeded smoothly and the delivered product meets all specifications. RTA, Inc. kept us well informed throughout the course of the project, applying good project tracking and development/testing status reporting tools. If an unexpected issue arose, they solved it quickly or advised us accurately as to when to expect a solution. RTA, Inc. also provided training to our in-house maintenance department and to our customer support center as the development completed. Overall, RTA, Inc. is a great team to work with!" |

| Many automation vendors that require DeviceNet communications lack the resources to develop custom DeviceNet custom PCBs. The special expertise required to design DeviceNet hardware, integrate a DeviceNet Slave or DeviceNet Master stack and integrate a custom Object Model is often not available. When you get a Custom PCB & Turnkey Software Development you get a DeviceNet-enabled product that is completely tailored for you and your market. You don’t get a shoe horned version of DeviceNet made to support hundreds of different applications. |

| "I have found RTAs knowledge of PLC networks, especially DeviceNet and SDS, to be extremely valuable. Their years of experience allowed them to develop plug-in modules to our specifications more quickly and less costly than an in-house development. Along the way RTA, Inc. provided quality documentation and hardware, well-debugged software and a friendly communicative attitude. We will continue to use RTA, Inc. in the future." |
