NicheStack
NicheStack™ is a fully compliant suite of protocols for
Internet, Intranet and LAN connectivity. InterNiche's Portable TCP/IP
stack is a complete SDK for developers of embedded systems that require
high throughput and easy porting to any environment. It can be
integrated with any RTOS, with InterNiche's multi tasking scheduler or
a "home grown" RTOS/scheduler. It includes ANSI "C" sources for the
TCP/IP family of protocols, a "Sockets" API, and full technical
documentation. The InterNiche IP layer can be configured as a standard
client machine, an IP router, or a multi-homed server.
NicheStack™ was written from the ground up for embedded systems.
It is small yet includes all of the protocols needed to implement a
fully compliant TCP/IP stack and its throughput is among the highest in
the industry.
NicheLite
Now you can have your choice between two compatible TCP/IP stacks,
one of which is sure to meet your requirements. The NicheLite™
TCP/IP stack is a full featured subset of our NicheStack™
TCP/IP.
NicheLite is the only fully featured TCP/IP stack, written completely
in C, that is under 12 KB. It is designed to be a highly portable and
compliant implementation of the TCP/IP protocol suite. It includes ANSI
C sources for the TCP/IP family of protocols, a "Mini" Sockets API, and
full technical documentation. The NicheLite IP layer can support one
hardware interface. NicheLite provides compatibility with InterNiche's
PPP, FTP, Telnet Server, and Web Server.
Portable PPP (Point to Point Protocol)
PPP, or Point-to-point Protocol is a suite of protocols that operate
with the InterNiche TCP/IP stack to allow embedded products to
communicate over a serial line. It includes ANSI "C" sources for the
PPP family of protocols and full technical documentation. The
InterNiche PPP layer can function as a client or a server, supports all
standard PPP authentication protocols, and DHCP over PPP.
Portable FTP Server
FTP Client & Server adds the File Transfer Protocol Client & Server
functions to InterNiche's TCP/IP product. FTP capability allows the end
user to upgrade firmware and copy large data blocks from the embedded
system efficiently, easily and with standard tools. Applications for
FTP include updating flash over any network and file transfers.
NichePOP3
NichePOP3™ is a complete drop in module that adds the ability
to retrieve email from a POP3 email server on an embedded system. Like
all InterNiche products, NichePOP3 has a small memory requirement and
is extremely well suited for deeply embedded applications such as cell
phones, PDA's and special purpose hand held computers. NichePOP3 can be
accessed from an embedded Browser such as NicheView or from a customer
mail application.
Portable TELNET Server
TELNET enables an embedded system to provide network accessibility
for remote configuration and monitoring through the TELNET Server. It
is compatible with commercial TELNET Clients such as those found in
Windows® 95/98/NT, UNIX etc.
